Charles Waite Morgan
Chairman

Mr Morgan is a resources and technology strategist who has successfully identified emerging international opportunities and acquired large, early stage and strategic positions in a wide range of ventures around the globe. His particular strengths include identifying early stage commercial opportunities, acquiring large and strategic assets and positions, partnering with regional and technology experts, securing teams of appropriate executives and adding value for the benefit of shareholders.

Stephen Keenihan
Managing Director

Mr Keenihan has more than 34 years experience in the energy industry, within and outside Australia. He has primarily been involved with oil and gas activities but also a broad range of experience in other energy and electricity projects including coal, gas, wind, biofuels and geothermal. He has previously held management roles with Apache Energy, Griffin Energy, Novus Petroleum, WMC Petroleum, LASMO and Woodside. He has extensive expertise in oil and gas exploration activities and experience covering a broad range of disciplines including development, operations, commercial and marketing activities both operated and non-operated.


Brent Villemarette
Operations Director

Mr Villemarette has 26 years experience in the application of sound reservoir engineering principles and practices. He is experienced in reservoir analysis and performance optimization, project feasibility studies, reserve replacement strategies, field development plans, and acquisition analysis as well as assessing the commercial viability of exploration prospects, new field developments, facility upgrades, and acquisition candidates.  Brent spent the last nine years as the Reservoir Engineering Manager for Apache Energy.


Russell Stephenson
Commercial Director

Mr Stephenson has worked for 38 years in the energy industry, primarily in Western Australia. He has held senior management positions covering the operation and maintenance of coal and gas fired power stations, the operation of the interconnected electricity system and the start up and operation of the Dampier to Bunbury gas pipeline. He led the commercial team negotiating the proposed privately owned Collie Power Station prior to joining WMC’s Petroleum Division where he was responsible for oil and gas marketing for their WA and NZ assets. He spent the last nine years with Apache Energy also in oil and gas marketing before retiring in early 2007.



Edward Rigg
Director

Mr Rigg is Managing Director of Argonaut Limited (www.argonautlimited.com), a resource focused integrated investment house that offers stockbroking, corporate advisory, funds management and principal investment services. Argonaut is 20% owned by Apollo, one of the world’s largest private equity funds within excess of $40 billion under management.

 

Mr Rigg has over 15 years experience in the execution of mergers and acquisitions and capital raisings with specialist expertise in the oil and gas and mining sectors. He has previously held senior positions with global investment bank CIBC World Markets and the Perth based stockbroker, DJ Carmichael Pty Ltd.   He has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University, is a Responsible Officer under the AFSL regime, a Responsible Executive under the ASX Business Rules and is a Member of the Institute of Company Directors.

 


Craig Burton
Director
Mr Burton has extensive business experience in the natural resources sector and managing publicly listed companies. He has a track record of providing corporate and financial backing to successful resource projects and technical teams. Over the past 15 years, he has co-founded and assisted in the development of numerous resource companies and remains a substantial and active investor in the resources sector.

Monty House
External Affairs

Mr House was a member of the Parliament of Western Australia for 20 years and Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries. He developed and owns a large grain and livestock farm business in WA and is Chairman of the Land Information Authority of Western Australia (Landgate) ,Chairman of Central European BioFuels and acts as a consultant to Agri Energy Australia Ltd and has a number of business interests in WA. He was previously Chairman of a mining company and has led numerous overseas trade missions. Mr House is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
